Jasmine Mumtaz
I’m Jasmine Mumtaz, the founder of Royal Kids Childcare. Mother to my daughter Ava and proud member of Zion Church. With over 15 years of experience in the childcare industry, I earned my bachelor's degree in Child and Adolescent Studies from Bowie State University in 2013. My passion for quality childcare stems from the belief that children are the future, and each moment with them is precious.
At the age of 20, I began my career as a childcare assistant at Andrews AFB, where I quickly recognized the need for quality childcare and support, especially outside of conventional daycare hours. To address this, I started offering additional support beyond my work hours, babysitting and helping take children to extracurricular activities. I often referred to myself as an extended family member, drawing inspiration from my own loving and supportive family.
For years, I took pride in providing childcare for date nights, holiday parties, and simply giving parents a much-needed break. In 2014, a year after graduating, I established my business, Royal Kids Childcare. I chose the name "Royal Kids" because my last name, Mumtaz, means royal, excellence, and best.
From 2014 to 2016, I provided evening and weekend childcare services to my clients. In 2016, I was offered my first Assistant Director position at Bolling AFB, working at the Child Development Center. In 2017, while continuing my role at the military base, I opened a full-time childcare center in Indian Head, Maryland, which offered daycare, before-and-after care, and summer camp until December 2020. Unfortunately, Royal Kids Childcare closed due to the global pandemic.
However, the demand for childcare remained, and my desire to provide support continued. I adapted my approach and began offering onsite childcare for weddings, corporate events, retreats, and seminars. Working at various Child Development Centers throughout the DMV area has motivated me to provide childcare when it’s needed most—during evenings and weekends.
I am committed to serving families with safe, quality, and enjoyable environments, staffed by qualified individuals who are CPR and First Aid certified. I look forward to working with your family!

Injoh Renee
My name is Injoh (In-ja) and I have been working with children ranging from infants to school age for over 10 years now. Within my years of experience, I have had the opportunity to work with children with special abilities, particularly autism as well as train teachers and caregivers to perform at their highest potential. I am excited to embark on the journey with Royal Kids because this is the perfect opportunity to exercise my gifts, knowledge and dedication to children.

Kendra Cooper
Hi! I’m Kendra! A 5th year teacher who believes learning should reach the whole child: heart, mind, and body. I love bringing music and dance into the classroom to keep things joyful and creative, while also helping my students grow socially and emotionally. Building strong relationships, creating a safe space, and watching kids thrive—that’s what it’s all about for me!
